Now that PUSACORP has emerged from our holiday retreat (as usual we sipped champagne on the Italian Riviera with U2), we are in a position to reveal to you the full lineups for PUSAFEST. Plan accordingly, and consider multiple nights, so as not to miss all the awesomeness.
FRIDAY: Ladies and Gentlemen: after years of groveling and tense back room negotiations, we are proud to bring you future Seattle legend and current Twitter legend , he of Long Winters fame. Opening are Bellinghams’ killer duo action No-Fi Soul Rebellion. They played with us on some US dates some years ago, and our butts still hurt from the kicking they gave us every night!
SATURDAY: Zander Schloss (Curcle Jerks, Joe Strummer) and Sean Wheeler (Throw Rag) have somehow combined to become The Legendary Duo and are a hootenanny-story time-goodtime, who literally made Andrew cry when he saw them last year. Let’s make Andrew cry again! In a desperate attempt to add some geek cred to the shows, I have successfully groveled to engage famous entertainer and fellow W00tstock veteran Mike Phirman! He’s even on TV and stuff, and podcasts! Find some of his internet dominance.
SUNDAY: Exciting! a rare solo set from Saturday Knights founder Tilson. This guy is a genius-level rapper, and the real deal. Here is some free-styling I found, he starts about a minute in. I don’t know what he’s going to do at the show, but he is rumored to be working on top-secret new stuff. YUP! And bringing the party will be Head Like A Kite’s Dave Einmo and Asya Smoosh in their collaboration Daydream Vacation . Did I mention that they will BRING THE PARTY?
